i don’t exactly remember how i met kim drew irl, but i know i was obsessed with her site, black contemporary art, beforehand. however it happened, we met and i became just as obsessed with the person behind the site. her commitment to promoting black artists is so important/necessary/overdue and i’m so excited to be on the sidelines watching the ascent of black excellence into the world stage. even though my girl is blowin’ up and gettin’ real poppin’ or whateva in the art world. she still remains a true sisterfriend.
